Thousands Left Without Power in South-East Queensland and Victoria Following Powerful Storms
Approximately twenty-five thousand residences in southeastern Queensland were left experiencing outages on Monday morning after severe thunderstorms impacted the region, bringing wind gusts hitting 109km/h.
Substantial Hailstones and Widespread Destruction
Locals witnessed large ice chunks measuring up to seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that different parts across the state had been affected by significant hail.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along large portions of eastern Queensland this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
Tuesday was predicted as the most rainy day, with persistent severe weather risk anticipated across different parts of both areas.

Medical authorities warned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
